Should I renew my PSM certification?

No, the Professional Scrum Master Certification is valid for life and does not need to be renewed.

After PSM training, how many days do I need to take the certification exam?

Scrum.org will provide you with a personal password once you have completed your PSM course. This password has no expiration date, links to a specific site where you may take the exam, and is only good for one try.

Are the Professional Scrum Master training materials effective in preparing for the PSM exam?

What is the process to become a Professional Scrum Master ?

The process of becoming a Professional Scrum Master can be explained in the following steps:

Step 1: Choose an authorized PSM training provider.

Step 2: Enroll for a two-day PSM course and get trained by Certified Professional Scrum Trainers® (PSTs).

Step 3: On successful completion of the PSM training, scrum.org will email you the password for exam access which has no-expiration date and is valid only for one attempt.

Step 4: Click on the link received from the Scrum Alliance and create your own login credentials.

Step 5: Log in to take the online PSM test. The exam consists of 80 MCQs and a time limit of 60 minutes (1 hour).

Step 6: You need to answer 68 questions correctly and score 85% to pass the PSM test.

What do you mean by PDUs and SEUs?

What if I have queries after I complete this course?

Your access to the Support Team is permanent and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The staff will assist you in addressing any issues that arise during and after the training.

What are Batch Shift and Cancellation norms ?

This includes registrant applications to any of our PSM education partner's planned public classes, as long as the registrant has already paid for the class. The terms and conditions listed below do not apply to registrants who join up by Purchase Order. Any cancellations and rescheduling must be communicated through email.

A) CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULES BY CUSTOMER

Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of registration will get a full refund.
Cancellations submitted within 10 days of the training will not be refunded. As a favour, we may enable you to put 50% of your payment against a future training session within one year of the cancellation date.
Cancellations made 1-3 days before the session and no-shows will not be refunded, and the cost will not be applied to a future training.
Reschedules received more than 15 days before the session would be credited to a future training date.
Reschedules received within 10 days would be credited to a future training but would incur a 10% (of the usual rate) reschedule charge.
Registrant replacements are permitted at any time.

Our PSM education partner maintains the right to cancel or postpone a class at any time for any reason, including, but not limited to, inadequate registrations, unavailability of the classroom or trainer, or if the trainer could not attend due to unexpected circumstances.
Our PSM education partner is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or special damages incurred as a result of a planned class cancellation, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties incurred due to transportation or lodging arrangements.
Registrants would not be charged for the training and would be given full credit to a future session or a complete refund, whichever they preferred.
